Ice on a flowing river is a beautiful and amazing phenomenon! I love walking along a river any time of the year, but in the winter, it’s especially magical! The shapes of the various types of ice crystals, the sounds of water at different depths under the ice, the moving shapes made by water passing under thin ice layers, and the shades of bright blue and turquoise of thick ice formations enthrall me!
I’m sharing images of ice taken with my iPhone, in most cases. These photos by themselves are lovely, but as I played with one of my favorite ice images in Adobe Photoshop, I was pleasantly surprised to find various faces and creatures when I created kalaidescopic designs with one of my favorite images.
