I was playing with an image I captured at Denver’s Botanic Gardens, and started to reflect the image across various axis. What started as a lovely image that I had applied Photoshop filters to, turned into elegant tapestry that could used for a pillow, wall art or a rug.
As I look closely at the image, I like what I see, but I see imperfections that need to be addressed. I like the soft, painterly quality of the image, but wonder if it’s too ethereal for the real world.
With the ease of snapping quick shots with my iPhone, comes the challenge of having an image that is high enough resolution and clarity to actually be printed. Further refinement and research is needed, to see if a vendor could actually turn the full version of this image into a viable product.
